Checklist for monitoring job progress, overdue items, and updating due dates
Tip
XTM provides the ability to track and modify due dates at the project, workflow, workflow step, and job level. This is described here.
Tip
This reporting method provides due date reports viewable only within XTM. These reports provide project due dates and the languages closest and furthest away from completion.
Access project delivery due date reports
Tip
This reporting method uses Actions whose reports are exported to Excel for distribution to others, or for further analysis. These reports are at the project and workflow level.
Reacting to due date notifications sent to PMs via e-mail at regular intervals
Tip
This is the only way to check the status at the job/task level, as e-mail notifications are sent for overdue jobs and jobs whose due dates are approaching. By default, these notifications are sent every 12 hours. This can be changed by an Administrator.
Updating and assigning all due dates for multiple projects simultaneously.
Tip
This method uses the Manage Projects selection in the project Actions menu.
This reporting tool can change workflow and project due dates which are applied to all languages and source files. It doesn't change due dates for individual source files or languages.
Workflow step due dates can only be changed from this tool if the Auto-calculate due dates for workflow steps option is checked within each individual project.
Updating and assigning all due dates for a single project.
Tip
This method uses the Project List and is more flexible as it can change all due dates down to the file, language, and workflow step level.
