Segments
Segments are defined as the source content being translated. This is sometimes referred to as a source string.
XTM divides source content (i.e translatable content) into segments, and displays the segments individually, for the translator to translate.
By default, segments represent individual sentences within the source content. Segmenting by individual sentences is usually preferable as linguists work faster and with higher quality on shorter segments.
Tip
Strings in XTM can be segmented in any custom way a customer chooses. Please make a request to your XTM point of contact for further details.
Segmentation per language can be changed from sentences to paragraphs in Configuration->Settings->Analysis Manager
